Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Does my child need a tennis racket before they can start with lessons?   No, tiny tennis will provide all necessary equipment, including tennis rackets, nets, balls, and any additional materials.
  2. Does my child need tennis experience to take tiny tennis lessons? No previous tennis experience is needed. Our program is designed to introduce young children to tennis with age-appropriate instructions. The curriculum was designed by tennis professionals to include lesson plans that are fun, safe, and effective.
  3. What will my child learn in a tiny tennis class? Players will receive experience in tennis exercises, physical activity, character development, life lessons, exercising movement, coordination, and balance in tiny tennis’ curriculum. Every single tiny tennis coach is certified and carefully selected to help guide your child into an avid tennis player.
  4. Where are the lessons held? Lessons are conducted weekly at pre-primary and primary schools, creches, and nursery schools.
  5. What if the school that my child attends does not have tiny tennis as an extramural sport? We are continually partnering with more schools. Please let us know if your child’s school is not on our list of participating schools yet.
  6. What does my child need to bring and wear to lessons? Players should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Please remember sunblock, water, and a hat (especially during the summer months). All other equipment will be provided.
  7. What do we receive in the registration goodie bag? All goodie bags contain a drawstring bag, t-shirt, and water bottle.
  8. What do lessons cost? The fee per term is R800 per player and a once-off registration fee of R250 is also payable upon signing up.
  9. How many children are in a class? tiny tennis has a 6:1 child to coach ratio.

Cancellation policy & Disclaimer

  • One Term written notice in advance is required on cancellation of your child/children’s tennis coaching, otherwise the full amount will be payable for the term.
  • Although the children are under adult supervision during their lessons and all reasonable precautions are taken to prevent the occurrence of accidents and injuries, the tennis coach will not be held legally liable for any claims arising in this regard.
